K2 would like to congratulate our partner, Continuing the Mission (CTM), who held their first annual banquet this past Saturday to raise awareness about their goal of providing service dogs to Veterans with PTSD. The event was embraced by members of the community coming together to support and listen to the stories told from Service Members and Veterans who have experienced the first-hand effects of PTSD and service-related disabilities. Canines have the ability to play a significant role in recovery for service-disabled Veterans who often feel secluded after experiencing trauma.
Thank you to everyone who supported the banquet and we look forward to the growth of this organization with such an important mission. CTM will be looking for foster homes for service dogs in the near future and we encourage our community to reach out if you are interested.
