One of K2’s Law Enforcement Trainers, Jim O’Brien, will be instructing this year at K-9 Cop in Louisville, KY on November 14th – 16th. His topic this year is Apprehension Work Beyond the Bite Suit. This class is Tuesday, November 15th at 8:00 AM in the Willow Classroom.
Jim has been handling and training Police canines for over 12 years and was a Police Officer in New Hampshire for 15 years. Jim is experienced in all facets of law enforcement K9 training and has conducted nationwide seminars, courses, and classes for Police Officers.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Norwich University in Vermont and is a Veteran of the United States Coast Guard Reserve. He was a Region 9 United States Police Canine Association (USPCA) Champion in 2009. Jim is currently a Law Enforcement K9 Instructor focusing on Multi-Purpose Canines.
