The purpose of the Train the Trainer Course is to provide the handler with necessary knowledge to effectively select, train and deploy a fully trained working canine.
Objective:
Upon completion of the 4 week course, students will leave with knowledge on training green canines for duty within the law enforcement and military communities. The student will also learn the evolution of the working canine, legal aspects of canine utilization, canine procurement and retirement, record keeping and use of canine related equipment.
