Tyler Bellmore began training and handling Labrador retrievers for hunting, field trials and hunt tests more than 20 years ago. Tyler came to K2 in 2011 and began training off-leash Improvised Detection Dogs (IDD’s) and their Marine Corps handlers for deployment to Afghanistan. Tyler has since spent time training and handling single purpose and Person-Borne detection canines. Tyler serves as K2’s Chief Trainer and is their subject matter expert on training protocols and techniques. He is responsible for the daily management of all canine training teams to ensure schedule and performance requirements are met.
